Responding to huge demand, and on the eve of their anticipated album release, legendary psych-rock phenomenon TAME IMPALA have added a second and final Melbourne show to their biggest ever tour of Australia and New Zealand.

Tame Impala’s transcendent live experience will take in back-to-back nights at Rod Laver Arena on Thursday 23 (sold out) and Friday 24 April (just announced!).  Tickets for the new Melbourne show are on sale at 2pm AEDT, Friday 14 February.

The band will also visit Auckland’s Spark Arena on Thursday 16 April, Brisbane’s Entertainment Centre on Saturday 18 April, Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on Monday 20 April and Adelaide’s Entertainment Centre Arena on Saturday 25 April; before heading to Perth for a huge hometown show at RAC Arena on Tuesday 28 April. Tickets for all shows are selling fast. Special guests, Texan genre-defiers Khruangbin, join Tame Impala on all dates.

Led by multi-instrumentalist Kevin Parker, Tame Impala have established themselves as one of Australia’s most astounding live acts. Their world-renowned, light-infused party of psychedelic euphoria impressing at prestigious headlining slots such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Primavera, and Splendour in the Grass.

With ‘The Slow Rush’, the first album in five years released this Friday 14th February (Universal), cover features in the current issues of BillboardGQ Australia ,The Music and more, and rave reviews from critics around the world, Tame Impala is gearing up for their biggest year yet.

KHRUANGBIN return after last year’s in-demand Australian tour, which saw them add shows and upgrade venues.  Last Friday saw the band release their shimmering new EP with fellow Texan Leon Bridges, Texas Sun. A mix of Thai-surf punk, Persian rock music, disco, and a whole lot more, their hypnotic live show is not to be missed.

 TAME IMPALA HAS RESCHEDULED AUSTRALIA &
NEW ZEALAND DATES TO DECEMBER 2021

TICKETS FOR ALL SHOWS ARE ON SALE NOW

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Laneway Presents, Chugg Entertainment & Frontier Touring wish to advise that Tame Impala has had to postpone their rescheduled Australian and New Zealand dates from December 2020 to December 2021.

The shows, originally planned to be held in April of this year and rescheduled to December, remain unable to go ahead due to the constantly changing nature of the pandemic, and associated Government directives in Australia and New Zealand.

Tame Impala’s postponed tour will begin at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Sunday 5 December 2021 and continue through Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide, wrapping up with an anticipated homecoming show in the band’s native Perth on Saturday 18 December 2021.

Ticketholders are advised to hold onto their tickets; tickets already purchased for the April & December 2020 shows will be valid for the corresponding rescheduled dates.

All remaining tickets are on-sale now for the new dates in December 2021.

Patrons who are unable to attend the rescheduled shows will be entitled to a full refund from their authorised point of purchase.

Laneway Presents, Chugg Entertainment and Frontier Touring apologise to any ticketholders who are inconvenienced by these rescheduled dates and thank fans for their support and understanding during these unprecedented circumstances.
