Single Release: Britney Quinn – Stuck On Me
Brisbane’s Britney Quinn is redefining Australian R&B, bringing pop to the front in a confident, accomplished debut single ‘Stuck On Me’. The 18-year-old brings an unashamed 2020 spin to an old-skool sound, channeling Ashanti and Destiny’s Child while firmly taking her place beside queens of modern R&B like Mabel, Summer Walker and Ella Mai.
‘Stuck On Me’ is an empowering she-anthem, recorded by ARIA award winning engineer and mixer Tom Garnett (Travis Scott, Kelly Rowland, Bliss & Esso) at the iconic Studios 301, spinning a clear message that if you play around you won’t be sticking around.
Born in Melbourne, Quinn moved with her family, living in exotic locations including Paris, Africa, New Zealand and Singapore, before settling in Brisbane where she completed her schooling, took up dancing and learned multiple instruments including the piano, which remains her major creative outlet for her songwriting.
“I really want young people to hear my music and hear their own experience within it,” said Britney Quinn. “It’s a really crazy time in the world right now and being able to express yourself through music is so important. These are my stories and I’m so grateful that fans are finding a connection with me and what I’m putting out into the world is being valued.”
