WHITE NIGHT REIMAGINED BRINGS THE BEATS THIS AUGUST
White Night Reimagined are bringing exclusive music gigs to the CBD as part of the three-day Winter extravaganza hitting Melbourne this August, with White Noise, The Push and Supersence. Over two nights Friday August 23 and Saturday August 24, White Noise will fill stages on Melbourne’s laneways and backstreets to bring you the tastiest emerging acts from Melbourne and indeed Australia’s music scene.
Spanning Hip Hop, Jazz, Dance, Indie, Roots, Garage and more, White Night Reimagined will feature sets from the likes of 3K, CLYPSO, Constant Mongrel, Mwanjé, The Merindas + WVR BVBY, taking in some the cities favourite late night hangouts including Cherry, Boney, Globe, Radar + Section 8 – you’ll be shaking your tail feather from the early evening right through until the wee hours.
A star of the White Night Reimagined music program is a collaboration with Supersense: Festival of the Ecstatic, who will present a grand, immersive nod to the timeless impact of drone music in SUPERDRONE – a free Supersense event on Saturday 24 August. Set within the underground labyrinth of the breathtaking State Theatre complex, the supersensory event will feature a secret line-up of extraordinary artists performing a continuous concert of magnificent vibration that has to be experienced to be believed.
Finally, some of Australia’s best artists will take to Melbourne’s city centre on Sunday August 25th, as the White Night festivities kick on for one additional afternoon on the forecourt of the Arts Centre Melbourne with The Push Stage.
Programmed by Victoria’s leading youth music organisation The Push Inc, the free, all-ages event will see the outdoor stage come to life with sets by Ball Park Music, Thelma Plum, Tyne James Organ, TOTTY and Tulliah.
The full program, with act and venue timetabling will be released closer to the event dates.
