Introducing Nimbo Fork; luxury accommodation in NSW
Nestled in the NSW hinterland and overlooking the Tumut River lies Nimbo Fork, a hidden gem of luxury, boutique style accommodation. An escape in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains, the secluded getaway combines a Hampton’s style aesthetic with unexpected luxury.
At intimate escape, Nimbo Fork is made up of six private cottages and six lodge suites. Guests travel through windy roads and paddocks filled with cattle before arriving to the fork of the river for the ultimate 2-night escape. Inspired by their surrounds, each cottage and suite are named after local landmarks and with unique design elements, reflect their own distinct personality.
Each room is filled with natural light and a neutral and creamy colour palette, complimenting the wooden timber floors and exposed beams. The outside façade blends naturally into the landscape with sky-blue timber cladding and crisp white bannisters set against lush gardens and rolling hills. Sumptuous leather chesterfield armchairs, bespoke hand-carved wooden beds and fresh white plantation shutters provide a blend of tailored comfort and relaxed elegance.
Secluded luxury, guests come to watch the horses graze from their private balcony, relax in their own deluxe bath with panoramic outback views or rejuvenate with an in-room spa treatment. Follow one of the many walking or bike trails then take a picnic blanket to the edge of the river and spend the afternoon listening to the water rush by. Bliss.
For guests with reduced mobility, the Geehi Cottage features a wheelchair ramp, grab rails, accessible ensuite facilities and a lowered queen bed.
Surrounded by getaway activities, Nimbo Fork has partnered with local businesses to offer bespoke packages. Wake up before dawn for a guided fly-fishing tour in a hand-crafted wooden boat in one of NSW’s most picturesque and abundant spots. Or spend the afternoon flying over the Snowy Mountains with True North Helicopters, followed by a visit to local wineries Obsession and Courabyra Wines.
