Daylesford Polo Launch at Bentley Motors
Is there room for another polo event on Melbourne’s social calendar? Of course there is. Enter, Daylesford Polo ladies and gents. An excuse to mingle, enjoy great food and drink, spectacular fashion and great views of the playing field – It’s sure to become a highlight of the Melbourne social calendar.
The event launched on Wednesday 20th February at Bentley Motors Melbourne, with celebrity guests, on point fashion and delightful canapes – it was a sample or an ‘Amuse-bouche’ if you will, of whats to come at the big event in March.
Presented by Bentley, tickets include private marquees, fully catered options and also general admission tickets. All of which you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the Mingela Polo Cup match and the beautiful surroundings of Daylesford.
Let’s talk about my favourite element, the fashion. Daylesford Polo says artisanal chic is the name of the game – think summer casual; florals, frills, boho, pantsuits and cool tones. As for footwear, wedges, block heels or flats are the preferred choice, otherwise you might find yourself sinking into the grass. Oh, and stick to the cardinal rule for such day events – if you would wear it to a bar or club, don’t wear it to the polo. T’wood be a fashion faux pas.
Date: Saturday 23rd March, 2019
