Marc Cain Fashion Show in Berlin – Meet you at the Train Station

Meet you at the train station under this motto, the urban station atmosphere was perfectly reflected at the Marc Cain Fashion Show in Berlin. People with different destinations meet here. The looks of the Marc Cain collections are as different as the situations.
The train station is a pulsating place of chance encounters and the starting point of a journey. Different types of women show different fashion styles here whether elegant business looks for the office, sporty outfits for the ski holiday, streetwear styles for the city or elegant evening dresses for the visit to the theatre. In staging the Fashion Show, the theme of the station was taken up in a modern, abstracted way. The dominant colours were black and white, complemented by rust-red accents. The backdrop of the catwalk formed an imposing, stylized train from which the models stepped out and walked the catwalk. In addition to the train, other cut-out motifs in the form of station clocks, lanterns, trunk stacks and much more contributed to the harmonious atmosphere with the specially modified Marc Cain ornament.
The staging around the theme of the station perfectly reflects the various influences at Marc Cain Collections and Sports. The topic of knitting plays an elementary role, because it is one of the core themes and part of the Marc Cain DNA, said Katja Konradi, Managing Director Design & Brand. The Autumn/Winter 2019 collections are determined by intense colour statements and contrasts. Fluorescent neon tones used as an accent act like flashes of light, especially when combined with neutral winter pastels or beige nuances. Streetwear guarantees zeitgeist. The break of woolly knit and yellow surfaces seems very cool and casual at the same time. Tailored Suits act as a key themeBlack & White looks catch the eye. Knitting also plays a major role in elegant dresses in the Evening Wear and is perfect for layering. Various animal prints such as zebra or Leo create tension in a duet with caromusters and create surprising outfit combinations.
Front Row was high-profile: US actress Sarah Rafferty, Yvonne Catterfeld, Hannah Herzsprung, Joy Denalane, Esther Schweins and others such as Caro Daur and Leonie Hanne. Supermodel Lorena Rae shone on the catwalk, among others. Other well-known models such as Sam Goldberg or Eveline Hall also walked the catwalk for Marc Cain.
During Fashion Week, the True Bagmodel was sold exclusively for 48 hours in advance for the first time as part of a see now buy-now campaign. The bag comes in three different colour schemes (aubergine, beige, black) and is made from 100% calflode Made in Italy.
