Q & A
Q. What is your family background?
A. I am a California girl! Born & raised in Los Angeles CA. I am a mixture of Armenian, Irish, & German.
Q. Did you grow up in your early teens wanting to be a model?
A. I never thought in my teens that I would become a model. I was too busy going to punk & metal shows as well as constantly studying. I thought I would become a lawyer & eventually get into politics. However, I’m glad that I ended up stumbling into modelling. I’m certain it’s a far more fun profession!
Q. What have you discovered / learnt from the modelling scene?
A. I learned that modelling can be hard work! Now don’t get me wrong, it’s not difficult like digging ditches, but it can be long hours & physical activity. Most of the time the best shot is the most uncomfortable pose & you’re stuck holding it for long periods of time. Once before I was modelling laying down on metal stairs, and we shot for three hours with those stairs jamming into my back. I had bruises for a week after…. but the photos came out amazing!
Q. Career highlights to date?
A. I am so proud to have been published in Playboy multiple times! It’s such an amazing honour & being able to tour and meet fans, take selfies with them, sign their copies of the magazine, and chat with them is my favourite thing ever! To date I’ve been featured in magazines, had the #1 show on Playboy Radio, done catalogue modelling for lingerie, toured for Playboy, have been featured in artworks, been on billboards, & made a few small appearances on film.
Q. Favourite hobbies?
A. I enjoy sewing, spending time with my cat Whoadie, watching horror movies, & helping charitable causes for animals & the environment.
Q. Favourite music?
A. I love hardcore punk, metal, trap, but I really love 70s soul. I can listen to Al Green, Issac Hayes, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes all day!
Q. Favourite films?
A. I love horror movies and gangster flicks. A few of my favourites are Nightmare On Elm Street pt 4, Goodfellas, Rosemary’s Baby, Casino, Menace 2 Society, & Evil Dead.
Q. Beauty tips?
A. My best beauty tips are to drink heaps of water & sleep as much as possible. Being dehydrated and tired will make you look & feel like s**t!
Q. What is your fashion sense?
A. I work hard at the gym & miss out on junk food to maintain my body, so I show it off as much as possible. I am super casual, almost always in jeans & tiny crop tops. Pretty much sexy, comfortable, & casual.
Q. What do you feel sexiest wearing?
A. I feel sexiest when I’m wearing red lipstick. Something about having it on my lips makes me feel super sexy.
Q. Advice for young girls aspiring to be models?
A. My best advice for aspiring models is to always have a great attitude. Be professional & be safe! When working with new photographers, take a minute to do some research on them. Bring a friend to escort you to a new shoot, & always write down the address, phone number, & name of the photographer on a piece of paper to leave at home in case something happens. This should also be great advice for experienced models as well.
A few years back, I had a person find my phone number from breaking into a company’s records, calling me pretending to be a photographer to hire me for a project. I showed up & was held against my will & assaulted. Having these records on paper helped me with a bad situation. Seriously, check references, talk to the photographer, bring an escort, & keep written records. If a photographer has a issue with this, walk away.
Q. What’s the craziest thing that you’ve done?
A. I think the craziest thing that I have done was shooting naked on a Harley Davidson in Mexico for my Playmate of the Month pictorial!
Q. What’s the funniest pick up line you’ve encountered?
A. I think the funniest pick-up line I’ve ever received was “Are you a magician because whenever I look at you everyone else disappears”
Q. Favourite place visited?
A. I love México City! The city, the people, the food, the culture is just magical!
Q. Do you have a role model/s?
A. There are so many women I admire! Pamela Anderson being one of them! She has accomplished so many things & is a champion for animal rights:
Q. People you’ve admired generally?
A. I have an admiration for people that are honest, kind, & giving.
Q. Are there any issues that you feel strongly about and would like to briefly discuss?
A. I’d love to get the word out about Palm Oil. Currently many acres of forest are being burned to the ground as a cheaper way of harvesting this oil. Beautiful creatures such as orangutans are being burned alive or losing their habitat for this cheap meat hold of obtaining palm oil. There are other methods of obtaining the oil that are humane but aren’t used as often due to its cost. Hershey’s chocolate, m & m’s, and Reece’s candy are using palm oil harvested by burning forests down instead of using conflict free palm oils. Please take a moment to read up on some of the problems with cheap harvesting of palm oil & use your wallet & your voice to let these companies know that they should respect our planet & the creatures on it by harvesting palm oil the right way… conflict free!
Q. Future ambitions?
A. I would love to open a animal sanctuary for abused animals.
