Get Your Groove On 2018
The Hunter Valley is widely considered the indulgence destination for fine wine, food and outdoor ambience. Sound Addiction’s Grant Smith is bringing the tastes, smells and sounds of the Hunter Valley to Bella Vista Farm this October with concert event, Get Your Groove On.
The event planner, manager and marketing extraordinaire said the music event is perfect for lapping up great Aussie music, whilst sitting back and enjoying scrumptious food and beverages from the famous wine region.
“It’s quite expensive to pack up and go to the Hunter Valley for two days,” Mr Smith said. “I thought why not bring the Hunter Valley to everyone’s backyard and I thought Bella Vista Farm was the perfect location to do that. It’s a great spot in north-west Sydney to host a Hunter Valley style event. It’s a chance for people gain a taste of the Hunter Valley region without needing to travel there. You can take a picnic rug, really enjoy the venue, relax with food and sip on wine, while listening to a jam-packed schedule of music.”
The concert will feature some of Australia’s top music acts including Birds of Tokyo, Pete Murray, Thirsty Merc, Hiaground, Clare Bowditch and Adalita.
Apart from the music, food and wine will be at the top the menu.
“We’ve got a nice selection of food,” Mr Smith said. “I stole a couple of guys that I worked with from the Hunter including a local restaurateur Matt Dillow from Deck Cafe. One of my favourites is the Smokin Hot’n Saucy food truck. They do lots of delicious slow cooked meats. Plus, we have a vegetarian option, Vege4Love, at the event. Hunter Valley Cheese Co is coming down and we’ve got dessert sorted. We’ve got a really great selection of food and wines. We’ve got some interesting things like a massage truck and market stalls as well. There will be a jumping castle, swings and merry-go-rounds for the kids.”
Tickets start from $75.
